Physics of Animation Wiki
Whether you're a traditional, CG, or stop-motion animator, to create realistic motion, it's helpful to know some physics. This wiki (along with the companion website AnimationPhysics.com) is dedicated to presenting physics that's useful to and in the language spoken by animation artists.
What's New?
Falling analyzed using slow-motion video reference and motion tracking.
Walks analyzed using video reference and force plate measurements of weight shift.
This is a semi-public wiki; some pages are protected while many are open to anyone who wants to edit. You can also upload files, such as animation clips, to share with others. Everyone is welcome to contribute but please be respectful to all who use the site.
